Advisor, Quality Assurance Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Tester with over 8 years of expertise in performance engineering, testing, and analysis of enterprise-grade applications. This role requires strong technical capability in designing and executing performance tests, analyzing system behavior under load, and ensuring application scalability, reliability, and stability.

The ideal candidate will closely collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to identify performance bottlenecks, tune systems, and ensure applications meet SLAs. This role also involves integrating performance testing into modern CI/CD pipelines and leveraging advanced monitoring tools for deep system insights.

What will you do

• Design and develop comprehensive performance test strategies, plans, and scripts for enterprise applications.
• Execute load, stress, spike, and endurance testing to evaluate system performance and scalability.
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and system constraints.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
• Monitor application and system performance using APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, and Grafana.
• Define performance benchmarks and ensure applications meet required SLAs and KPIs.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis for system slowdowns, failures, or inefficiencies.
• Provide actionable recommendations for performance tuning and optimization across application and infrastructure layers.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous performance validation.
• Prepare and present performance reports, dashboards, and insights to stakeholders.
• Analyze database performance using SQL/PLSQL and contribute to performance improvements.
• Evaluate server-side metrics including CPU, memory, threads, and database performance.

What you need to have

• 8+ years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Strong experience in performance test design, execution, and workload modeling.
• Experience in test data creation and preparation for performance scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar.
• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in analyzing server metrics (CPU, memory, threads) and database performance.
• Good understanding of Java Microservices architecture.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Solid understanding of system testing, regression testing, and end‑to‑end validation.

• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and JIRA

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM‑based features, or automation tools.

What would be great to have

• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to shift-left performance testing practices.
• Certifications in performance testing tools (nice to have).
• Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams.

• Ensure ethical AI usage, data governance compliance, and secure handling of model outputs.

• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

• Experience with AI APIs (OpenAI, Azure AI, AWS Bedrock) is a plus.

• Govern responsible AI usage, performance tuning, security, and observability for AI workloads.
