Summary:
As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving compatibility and optimal performance across systems. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of application health are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to enhance user experience and system efficiency.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and project success.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of application updates with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Purview.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based application configuration and management.
- Experience working with APIs and integration tools to connect various software components.
- Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and extend packaged applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting system stability and performance.
- Knowledge of release management processes and best practices.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Purview.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
