Job Description
- Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare sandwiches according to standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of every sandwich.
- Prepare and refill ingredients such as vegetables, sauces, cheese, spreads, and fillings.
- Grill, toast, and assemble sandwiches efficiently.
- Maintain freshness and proper storage of all ingredients.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Keep the sandwich preparation station clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and report shortages.
- Minimize food wastage through proper portion control.
- Clean equipment, utensils, and workstations after every shift.
- RequirementsBasic knowledge of sandwich preparation and food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good understanding of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Attention to detail and consistency in food preparation.
- Punctual, disciplined, and willing to learn.
- Previous experience in a sandwich shop, café, or QSR is preferred but not mandatory.
