In this role, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders to evolve framework processes and workflows while supporting strategic governance initiatives across Swiss Re.
About the team
The Digital Risk Governance & Control team is a cornerstone of Swiss Re's resilience strategy. We are dedicated to managing risks related to digital initiatives, ensuring they are properly identified, assessed, and controlled. As owners of the Digital Governance Framework (DGF), we are responsible for shaping and advancing the governance of digital and technology initiatives across Swiss Re. The DGF integrates multiple governance, risk, and control functions into a unified framework and workflow, enabling cross-functional collaboration, governance transparency, and risk-informed decision-making across digital initiatives.
In your role, you will…

Identify process inefficiencies, challenge existing approaches, and lead governance and workflow improvements.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align governance requirements, priorities, and implementation approaches.
Facilitate governance discussions and drive alignment across technology, risk, security, architecture, and business teams.
Develop and maintain governance standards, procedures, and audit-ready documentation.
Prepare executive-level reporting, presentations, and strategic governance materials for senior leadership.
Translate complex governance and technology topics into clear and actionable communication for diverse audiences.
Support organisational adoption and awareness of governance practices through stakeholder engagement and internal communications.
What we need from you

Demonstrated experience improving or redesigning governance frameworks, operating models, or cross-functional initiatives within complex technology environments.

Experience driving cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities and perspectives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including experience preparing high-quality executive presentations and governance reporting for senior leadership forums.
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence discussions, navigate ambiguity, and build alignment across functions.
Experience preparing structured governance documentation, operating procedures, standards, or audit-ready process artefacts.
Ability to translate abstract governance and risk concepts into practical, implementable processes and workflows.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related IT field.
