Job Title: Caretaker – Residential Flat (Toddler Play Area & Swimming Pool)

Job Summary:

The Caretaker is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and proper supervision of the

toddler play area and swimming pool within a residen􀆟al apartment complex. The role focuses on

maintaining a safe environment for children and residents while ensuring that all facili􀆟es remain

clean, orderly, and opera􀆟onal.

Key Responsibili􀆟es

Toddler Play Area

 Supervise the toddler play area during assigned hours.

 Ensure children use play equipment safely and follow community rules.

 Prevent unsafe behaviour and report any incidents or injuries immediately.

 Keep the play area clean, 􀆟dy, and free from hazards.

 Inspect play equipment daily and report damaged or unsafe equipment for repair.

 Ensure only authorized residents and their children use the facility.

 Assist parents or guardians with basic informa􀆟on regarding play area rules.

Swimming Pool

 Monitor the swimming pool area to ensure residents comply with pool safety rules.

 Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas.

 Report water quality issues, equipment malfunc􀆟ons, or maintenance needs.

 Ensure safety equipment (lifebuoys, first aid kit, emergency contacts) is available and

accessible.

 Prevent unauthorized access to the pool during closed hours.

 In emergencies, provide basic first aid (if trained) and immediately inform emergency

services and management.

 Coordinate with pool maintenance staff when required.

General Du􀆟es

 Maintain a polite and professional a􀆫tude with residents and visitors.

 Record daily inspec􀆟ons, incidents, and maintenance requests.

 Report safety concerns or suspicious ac􀆟vi􀆟es to the building management.

 Ensure compliance with society rules and safety regula􀆟ons.

 Support management during community events involving children or the pool area.

Qualifications

 Minimum high school education (preferred
