Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mechanical design, drafting, and preparation of engineering drawings for industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed working drawings
- Develop and modify 2D/3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools
- Coordinate with design engineers, project teams, and site engineers
- Ensure drawings are in compliance with industry standards and project requirements
- Prepare BOQs and drawing documentation for project execution
- Review and update drawings based on site feedback and changes
Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2–7 years of experience in mechanical drafting/design
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory), SolidWorks/Inventor (preferred)
Experience in material handling systems / cement plant / industrial projects is an added advantage
Good understanding of fabrication practices and mechanical components
