Reports To: Store Manager / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Shift Manager to oversee daily store operations during assigned shifts. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth restaurant operations, maintain high standards of customer service, manage team performance, and ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety, and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage day-to-day restaurant/store operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure smooth opening, mid-shift, and closing operations.
• Monitor adherence to company SOPs and operational standards.
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.

Team Management

• Supervise and guide team members during shifts.
• Allocate duties and responsibilities to staff members.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and performance.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing team members.
• Motivate and support the team to achieve operational goals.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Conduct stock checks and assist in inventory management.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper stock utilization.
• Ensure accurate receiving and storage of products.

Sales & Customer Service

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Support the team in achieving sales targets and business objectives.
• Monitor service quality and maintain brand standards.
• Upsell products and promote ongoing offers when required.

Cash & Compliance Management

• Ensure proper cash handling and POS operations.
• Verify daily sales reports and shift-related documentation.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations.
• Ensure all operational records are updated accurately.

Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily shift reports.
• Report operational issues, maintenance concerns, and staffing challenges to the Store Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of shift activities and team performance.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma in any discipline preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in QSR, Restaurant, Retail, or Hospitality operations.
• Prior team handling experience will be an added advantage.
