Job Description

  • Plan and execute Routine, Type, and Special Tests on Power & Distribution Transformers as per IS / IEC standards
  • Lead and supervise the testing team, including task allocation and performance monitoring
  • Review, verify, and approve test reports before final release.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of all testing equipment.
  • Handle customer.
  • witness tests and third-party inspections.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for testing failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Drive process improvements and introduce new testing methodologies.
  • Coordinate with Design, Production, and Quality teams for resolving technical issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and traceability .
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
