Job Summary

The Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and presenting a wide range of bakery products, including breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts. The role ensures consistent product quality, food safety compliance, inventory management, and efficient bakery operations while contributing to menu innovation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, muffins, and other bakery products according to standardized recipes.
• Develop new recipes and seasonal bakery items to enhance product offerings.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts to company quality standards.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout the bakery.
• Manage ingredient inventory and coordinate ordering of supplies when required.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for freshness and quality.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, and dough sheeters.
• Minimize wastage through proper storage, stock rotation, and production planning.
• Collaborate with management on production schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local food safety and health regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Bakery, Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Bakery Chef, Pastry Chef, or Baker.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food presentation.
• Ability to create and modify recipes.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Strong leadership and team-management abilities.

Salary: 18,000 to 25,000

Location : Nirman Nagar, Ajmer Road, Jaipur.
