Upskalor is building AI-powered products for local MSMEs in Bhubaneswar. We aim to understand the real problems faced by small business owners and create simple solutions that improve productivity and growth.
We are looking for a curious and proactive Market Research Intern who enjoys talking to people, gathering insights, and understanding how businesses operate. You will work closely with the founding team to identify challenges faced by local MSMEs and help shape new product ideas.
- Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ResearchMeet and interact with local business owners in Bhubaneswar.
- Conduct interviews and surveys with MSMEs.
- Understand their daily operations, challenges, and pain points.
- Market AnalysisStudy competitors and existing solutions.
- Identify market trends and opportunities.
- Analyze how businesses currently manage sales, marketing, operations, and customer communication.
- Data CollectionRecord customer feedback and insights.
- Organize findings using Google Sheets, Excel, or Notion.
- Create summaries and reports for the team.
- Product DiscoveryValidate business problems before product development.
- Help define customer personas and use cases.
- Recommend features based on user feedback.
- Community BuildingBuild relationships with local entrepreneurs and business associations.
- Participate in networking events and business meetups.
