Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and disciplined VMC Programmer to join our production team. At
Morphle Labs, we build high-precision medical robotics where every micron counts. This role is for someone
who lives and breathes precision machining and is ready to take full ownership of the programming and
setup for complex, high-quality components. As we operate a 24/7 high-energy manufacturing environment,
flexibility and a commitment to excellence across shifts are essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities
● Precision Programming: Develop, test, and optimize VMC programs for complex medical device
components using CAM software.
● GD&T Application: Interpret complex engineering drawings with a strict focus on Geometric
Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure 100% part compliance.
● Process Setup: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters to maximize
efficiency and part quality.
● Shift Operations: Lead programming and troubleshooting efforts across rotating shifts to ensure
continuous production flow.
● First-Off Inspection: Validate the first-run parts against CAD models and technical drawings to ensure
zero-defect manufacturing.
● Optimization: Continuously refine programs to reduce cycle times and improve surface finish for our
robotic assemblies.
● Collaboration: Work closely with the Design and Quality teams to provide feedback on "Design for
Manufacturability" (DFM).
Ideal Candidate Profile
● Minimum 1 year of professional experience specifically as a VMC Programmer in a high-precision
manufacturing environment.
● You must be able to read and interpret complex symbols and tolerances without supervision.
● Compulsory requirement to work across morning, evening, and night shifts.
● Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical trade.
● Proficiency in CAM software (such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, or Fusion 360) and basic CAD
navigation.
● A proactive approach to troubleshooting and a "get it right the first time" attitude.
