Senior Consultant - Geologist / Geophysicist

Job Duties

• Under general supervision, has good knowledge and understanding of applicable science and technology, gained through formal education and work experience.
• Working with customers, demonstrates knowledge of existing and emerging technology and product areas.
• Communicates to individual clients how the use of technology solutions allow them to be more productive.
• Is able to articulate and apply solution for assignment delivery. As an individual contributes to project teams.
• Effectively plans and manages own workload to meet desired service level targets. Maintains a consistent client-focused approach with clients and/or individuals.
• Requires completion of an undergraduate degree in engineering, geoscience, computer science or business and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Job Role: Geologist

Minimum Qualification:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Geology or Geophysics from reputed University or Institution.

Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years of related experience as a Geologist in E&P or service industry.

Technical Competencies:
- A good understanding on Earth’s structure, composition, and geological processes to identify natural resources, assess geological hazards, and support exploration, development projects.

- Analyse geological, geophysical data. Interpret subsurface structures using well logs, core samples, seismic data, and geological maps.

- Develop geological models to support exploration and development activities.

- Knowledge of uncertainty analysis, volumetric estimation.

- Good communication and report writing skills in English.

- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing industry standard Geoscience software like Petrel, Decision Space or Kingdom etc.

Job Role: Geophysicist

Reports To: Team Lead – G&G

Minimum Qualification:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Geology or Geophysics from reputed University or Institution.

Minimum Experience:
- 3-5 years of related experience as a Geologist in E&P or service industry.

Technical Competencies:
- Interpret 2D, 3D, and 4D seismic datasets. Interpret faults, horizons, stratigraphic features, and reservoir geometries. Generate structural and stratigraphic maps.

- Should have knowledge of quantitative interpretation studies, seismic inversion, and AVO analysis. Support prospect generation and maturation activities.

- Integrate seismic, well log, geological, and petrophysical data. Evaluate exploration leads and drilling opportunities. Assess geological and geophysical risks.

- Good communication and report writing skills in English.

- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing industry standard Geoscience software like Petrel, Decision Space or Kingdom etc.
