Senior NetSuite Engineer

What You'll Do

• Support the lead engineer in market deployments of Global Business Travel onto the NetSuite platform while managing ongoing enhancements and leading end-to-end support activities.
• You will be responsible for the health and wellbeing of the application, resolving critical support issues as they occur, and ensuring NetSuite customization, maintenance, and deployment of customizations are executed seamlessly.
• Your role includes managing NetSuite application performance, product technical deployment, and upgrades across the organization.
• You will collaborate with NetSuite, Boomi, and various internal teams to develop creative business solutions that drive value.
• Additionally, you'll develop design specifications and deliver comprehensive implementation and support documentation to maintain high standards.
• You will provide accurate estimates for design, build, peer reviews, test, and implementation phases while ensuring quality is maintained throughout.
• Your responsibilities extend to guaranteeing the quality of software development and third-party software integration and testing.
• Finally, you'll coordinate with the onsite team to ensure delivery timelines are met while monitoring all development activity and maintaining adherence to technical, security, and compliance standards.

What We're Looking For

• We seek a candidate with a background in computer science or engineering and 7 to 10 years of hands-on software development experience with major ERP implementations.
• You must be a NetSuite Certified SuiteCloud developer with 6+ years of experience in application integration, customization, and proficiency across SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript, SuiteFlows, SuiteAnalytics, and SuiteTalk.
• Experience with NetSuite GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Project Modules, preferably with Adaptive Planning, is essential.
• You should demonstrate solid experience delivering projects using agile methodology with a strong commitment to adding incremental business value through short sprints.
• Technical expertise in HTML, JavaScript, XML/XSL, and Web Services including UDDI, SOAP, and WSDL is required, along with hands-on experience in system architecture, object-oriented design, and web frameworks.
• You must be proficient with IDEs like Eclipse, source control systems, and HTML/JavaScript debugging tools, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Finally, you should be willing to work 2nd shifts from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST with occasional weekends, and commit to working from the Bangalore office location a minimum of 3 days per week.
