As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, ensuring that all relevant components are effectively incorporated. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration between various systems and data models. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders to align platform capabilities with organizational needs, fostering a cohesive and scalable data environment that supports business objectives and technological advancements.

- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement improvements in data platform architecture to enhance performance and scalability.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth and project success.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment of data platform strategies with broader organizational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with cloud-based data processing and storage solutions related to the primary skill.
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and best practices.
- Ability to design and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data environments.
- Familiarity with data governance and security principles within data platforms.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex data platform issues.
