Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong expertise in Azure cloud services and migration experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining Java applications using Spring Boot framework, with proficiency in Azure services including AKS, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and more. 

1. Java/Spring Boot Development 

• Strong foundation in backend development with Java frameworks 

• Expertise in Spring Boot for building microservices and enterprise-level applications 

• Experience in migrating and modernizing legacy Java applications to cloud-native architecture 

2. Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) 

• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestrating applications in Kubernetes environments on Azure 

• Proficiency in deploying and scaling Java applications in AKS clusters 

• Experience with Docker, Helm Charts, and container registries (ACR) 

3. Azure Cloud Services 

• Azure Key Vault (AKV) - Secrets management and secure configuration 

• Azure Functions - Serverless computing for event-driven applications 

• Azure Service Bus - Message queuing and enterprise integration 

• Azure Logic Apps - Workflow automation and integration 

• Azure Blob Storage - Data storage and management 

• Hands-on experience integrating Java applications with Azure SDK components 

4. CI/CD Pipeline & DevOps 

• Strong experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for code deployment 

• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions 

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Bicep 

• Knowledge of automated build and release pipeline configuration 

5. Azure Migration Experience (Preferred) 

• Experience in cloud migration projects (on-premises or AWS to Azure) 

• Understanding of migration strategies, assessment, and planning 

• Familiarity with Azure Migrate and related tools 

Mandatory skill sets:

• Experience with Kafka/Azure Event Hub for event streaming 

• Knowledge of REST/Graph API design and implementation 

• Python scripting for automation tasks 

• Experience with Azure Container Instances (ACI) 

• Familiarity with Azure API Management (APIM) 

• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics 

• Experience with Cosmos DB or Azure SQL Database 

Preferred skill sets:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications and microservices 

• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) 

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment 

• Integrate applications with Azure services (Key Vault, Service Bus, Functions, Logic Apps, Blob Storage) 

• Participate in cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transition to Azure 

• Develop and build operational data hubs and technical solutions 

• Collaborate with architects and onshore leads to build technical solutions 

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and performance issues 

• Ensure security best practices in application development and deployment 

• Document technical designs, processes, and operational procedures 

CERTIFICATIONS (Preferred) 

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) 

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) 

• Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 

• Kubernetes Certified Developer (CKD) or Administrator (CKA)
