CCTV Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and surveillance systems
• Run and terminate cables (Cat6, coaxial, fiber, etc.)
• Troubleshoot camera, network, and recording issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades
• Configure remote viewing on mobile devices and computers
• Install and maintain access control, intercom, and alarm systems
• Test system performance and ensure proper functionality
• Prepare service reports and documentation
• Coordinate with clients and explain system operations
• Follow safety standards and company procedures

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR setup
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches)
• Cable laying and termination skills
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
• Familiarity with security systems and access control
• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Good communication and customer service skills

Qualifications:

• Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Networking, or related field
• Experience in CCTV installation and maintenance preferred
• Certifications in security systems or networking are an advantage
• Valid driving license may be preferred

Fresher / 1–3 years / Senior level (customize as needed)

Working Conditions:

• Field work at client locations
• May require working at heights or outdoor environments
• Flexible hours for emergency maintenance
