Summary
We are looking for a skilled Oracle CC&B Technical Designer with strong expertise in Metering, Usage, and Rates modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting, and supporting complex solutions in CC&B, ensuring alignment with business requirements and system capabilities. This role will act as a bridge between business analysts, developers, and testers to implement robust and scalable utility billing solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design end-to-end technical solutions in CC&B for Metering, Usage, and Rates components.
Translate business requirements into high-level and detailed technical designs.
Lead and support the configuration of complex usage rules, bill determinants, and rate algorithms.
Work closely with functional teams to validate requirements and align system design.
Develop design documents including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and Technical Design Specifications (TDS).
Review and validate development work to ensure alignment with design and standards.
Support integration design with Meter Data Management (MDM), Smart Metering Systems, and external interfaces.
Conduct impact analysis and provide technical guidance for enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
Participate in design review sessions and provide technical mentorship to junior team members.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to metering, usage, and rates configuration.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of CC&B technical architecture and data model.
Experience designing and configuring complex billing scenarios, usage rules, and rate engines.
Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
Familiarity with CC&B scripting (e.g., Groovy), algorithms, and service scripts.
Strong experience working with Meter Data Management (MDM) systems and Smart Meter integration.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to produce clear, detailed technical documentation.

Additional Information
5+ years of experience working with Oracle CC&B, with focus on Metering, Usage, and Rate configuration.
Minimum 15 years of full-time education Degree in Engineering will be a plus
