Senior Technical Writer - Engineering Documentation

Position Title: Engineer / Specialist – Technical Writing

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to support our production and assembly operations by developing clear, structured, and user-friendly technical documentation. The role is responsible for translating complex engineering and production information into easy-to-understand instructions for shop floor and assembly teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and maintain assembly instructions and production documentation.
• Interpret complex technical data and convert it into clear, concise, and structured content.
• Work with tools such as XML editors, CMS platforms, and PLM systems (Teamcenter, SAP) for documentation management.
• Ensure all documents meet organizational standards, quality requirements, and version control processes.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and quality.
• Take ownership of deliverables, ensuring timelines and accuracy are met.
• Drive continuous improvement in documentation processes and usability.

Candidate Requirements:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation.
• Experience in energy, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sector is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with documentation tools (XML, CMS platforms, PLM – Teamcenter, SAP, MS Office).
• Ability to understand and simplify technical drawings, processes, and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables.
• Effective collaboration skills in a global environment.
