Job Title: ETL & Database Developer (Informatica / Greenplum / Cloud)

Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Database & ETL Developer with strong SQL, Informatica, and MPP database experience (preferably Greenplum), along with exposure to cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate has experience working with large-scale datasets, designing scalable data pipelines, and supporting production systems in a financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines and data workflows using Informatica.
• Build, optimize, and tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models in Greenplum/PostgreSQL.
• Work with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift and Snowflake.
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and compliance with data governance standards.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, analyze root causes, and provide timely fixes.
• Perform application support activities including batch/job monitoring, incident triage, and resolution of job failures.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of daily, weekly, and monthly data loads.
• Identify recurring production issues and implement long-term preventive solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support production releases and data pipeline enhancements.

Required Skills

• 8–10+ years of experience in Informatica ETL development, database engineering, or data integration roles.
• Strong experience with Greenplum or other MPP (Massively Parallel Processing) systems.
• Exposure to cloud data warehousing platforms (Redshift, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience in financial services or large-scale, data-intensive environments.
• Linux shell scripting and familiarity with Git, CI/CD processes.
• Experience with production support, job scheduling tools (Autosys/Control-M/Airflow), and incident management workflows.

Good to Have

• Experience with Airflow orchestration, Kafka streaming, or enterprise data quality frameworks.
• Knowledge of financial datasets such as Transactions, Positions, and Corporate Actions.
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
