Job Purpose: Head - Project Management Control Group [Project Management Office (PMO)] oversees the successful completion of a construction or capital project. Acting as the strategic hub, Head - PMO guides projects' directions, ensuring alignment with planned guidelines, budgets, and schedules. Purpose of this role is to ensure effective and robust project delivery of data center projects.

Project Management:

Head the design and set-up of project management office ensuring that the busines has capabilities to deliver large & complex data center projects. Set project management standards. Identify & communicate project priorities.

Strategy & Planning:

Aligning project objectives with the company's strategic goals and ensuring that projects are executed effectively. Head strategic planning and project governance and define the project management methodologies used to manage projects. Implement efficiencies that meet or exceed the financial expectations established at project initiation. Work with executive team to assess and decide which proposals have high potential value, impact and strategic alignment.

Stakeholder Management:

Communicate with internal & external stakeholders for project initiatition, set expecations, & project closure.

Governance & Compliance:

Ensure that projects comply with the project policies, standards of the organization & client requirements. Develop, & oversee implementation of, project performance monitoring systems-processes.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks. Proactively address issues that may impact project delivery and success.

Performance Management & Continuous Improvement:

Identify industry leading project management tools & practices; monitor implementation of such systems-methodologies-tools-processes; analyze gaps in current project management practices & recommend remedial meausres.

Resource Planning & Deployment:

Managing and allocating resources across projects according to priorities, schedules and budgets

Workforce Capability-Building & Knowledge Management:

Coach & mentor team members on project management practices & standards. Oversee implementation of capability-building programs pertaining to project management. Steer knowledge management initiatiatives in related areas.

Brand Positioning:

Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions. Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.

Team Development:

Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital business success.

Digital mindset:

Champions a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness. Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness.

OB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Graudate or post-graduate degree in civil or electrical engineering.

Experience:

15-17 years of work experience in project management & governance of data center projects

Certification(s):

Project Management certification (PMP, FRICS/MRICS &/or other industry benchmark certifications).

Mechanical or electrical or civil engineer with 20 to 25 years of experience in project planning in large-scale data center / infra projects.
