Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Operations Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operations and short/long-term planning for the groups they manage. They manage manufacturing, production control, engineering, inventory control, EH&S, shipping/receiving, etc. focusing on the development of technologies and continuous improvement and translating customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes.
Job Requirements
• Plan, direct and monitor production activities with the objective of maximizing the use of organization resources and meet established production targets (such as specifications, schedules, volume, cost, wastage target and quality standards) within the production plan.
• Coordinate local resources and collaborate with SCM to improve the quality and delivery control PDR of PSS SV products.
• Represent PSS operation to communicate with local customers and improve ECE level.
• Timely feedback on customer demand information, actively propose solutions to problems and implement them.
What your background should look like
• Bachelor’s in engineering, 15 years’ experience with people management experience
• Experienced lean production concept and real case.
• Experienced and Expertise on High Voltage Engineering and Manufacturing Ops is added advantage
• Excellent communication and People Management skills.
• Good business acumen and management knowledge.
• Managing local and global teams
• Familiarity with working in teams across functions and countries in a matrix organization is required
