Assistant Counselor

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant Counselor to support the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students. The candidate will work closely with the school counselor, teachers, and parents to help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting individual and group counseling sessions for students.

Support students in managing academic, emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.

Observe and identify student concerns and refer cases to the counselor when required.

Collaborate with teachers and parents to monitor student progress and well-being.

Maintain confidential student records and counseling documentation.

Assist in organizing awareness programs, workshops, and student wellness initiatives.

Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.

Skills Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Empathy, patience, and a student-centric approach.

Ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.

Good organizational and documentation skills.

Basic understanding of child development and counseling practices.

Experience

Freshers can apply.

Internship or volunteer experience in counseling, psychology, or education will be an added advantage.
