What this job involves

Overall management of the site with respect to the Security of employees, asset, premise.

• Ensure all process / procedures with respect to Emergency Handling, Visitor Management, Access Cards and CCTV etc. are in line with the company policy.
• Ensure quick and timely escalations to relevant stake-holders for any emergency situation.
• Be response-ready for any kind of Emergency at site.
• Ensure that the quality of manpower provided by security contractor is up to the mark.
• Carry out frequent checks to ensure all the possible measures are being implemented to prevent security lapses.
• Conduct a bi-monthly training of all guards covering various security related aspects.
• Conduct a quarterly table top exercise, basis real life scenarios to gauge how the team reacts and then to train the team to bridge the gaps, if any.
• Conduct regular cross audits of other MMC site to ensure that the security process are robust at all the locations.
• Conduct hotel and guest house security assessment, if required.
• Organize Rewards and Recognition activity for the security team on a quarterly basis.
• Partner with the business stake-holders like real estate, operations, transport etc. to ensure mutual support in times of events, VIP visits etc.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to Security Manager with respect to security aspects: Visitor footfall, number of incidents with details, material movement trend, preventive maintenance activity of security equipment, new joiners, lost access cards etc.
• Conduct monthly meeting with security contractors to communicate ‘What’s going well’ and ‘what needs to be improved’ Share KPI’s and Penalties with the security contractor as per monthly performance evaluation.
• Conduct investigation and share investigation report, directed by Security Manager.
• Liaison with landlord security on regular basis.
• Manage all internal audits with respect to security.
• Prepare cost sheet for security staff on monthly basis.
• Invoice processing for timely payments to the vendor. .
• Plan and implement surprise audits to check the effectiveness of the landlord security.
• Monthly reconciliation of gate pass, visitor card, temporary access card.
