Job Description

IBM Integration Bus Integration - Consultant

Must-have Skills:

  1. Experience using IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IIB V11, AppConnect and IBM WebSphere MQ is a must! 
  2. Experience with End-to-End REST or SOAP APIs and EAI design patterns like Publish-Subscribe, ESB, and Web services is a must.
  3. Good knowledge and experience with ESQL, message flows, DFDL, message sets, transformations across different message formats.
  4. Hands-on experience in using various adapters in IBM Integrations Bus is a must.
  5. Must have hands-on experience in MQ (queues/topics/subscriptions) and MQ protocols.
  6. Hands-on experience in using SQL and PL/SQL
  7. Must have extensive experience implementing Batch message processing.
  8. Must have extensive experience managing complex error handling, reconciliation mechanisms and fault management.
  9. Should have strong integration testing capability with testing tools such as postman, SOAPUI, RFHUTILC.

Preferred Skills

  1. Good knowledge and experience with API standards & management, API Lifecycle, API versioning best practices, API Policy, API Proxies would be preferred.
  2. Experience in Kafka and Stream processing would be an advantage.
  3. Good experience with Code versioning and Build tools
  4. Experience with continuous integration frameworks using tools such as Jenkins, etc.
  5. Good knowledge in creating test cases and plans
  6. Experience with Policy, Logging and Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting.

  1. Implement enterprise integrations using IBM IIB or other similar enterprise integration products like MuleSoft and Boomi.

  2. Work closely with technology leads to understand and clarify requirements.

  3. Design and develop highly scalable industry-leading applications and integration solutions.

  4. Analyse, isolate issues and resolve them.

  5. Produce design documents and lead technical walkthroughs.

  6. Grow and improve your skills by working on enterprise-level products and new technologies.

  7. Develop Integration HLD & LLD documents.

Support Testing and go-live activities.

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, information systems, or a related technical discipline
  2. 4+ years of experience in IIB, IBM ACE and IBM MQ.
