Job Title: Hybrid Cloud Infra Migration Engineer – Senior

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a Senior Hybrid Cloud Infra Migration Engineer with up to 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, data center migration, and hybrid infrastructure delivery. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with cloud services, migration tooling, infrastructure modernization, and hybrid connectivity. This role supports assessments, migration wave execution, cloud build activities, and hybrid platform rollouts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Support infrastructure workload migration across On-premises to cloud or cloud to cloud
• Support design and implementation of hybrid cloud environments across Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Execute discovery, assessment, dependency mapping, and migration preparation activities.
• Support migration waves for virtual machines, databases, middleware, and application platforms.
• Build cloud landing zones, resource groups, networks, storage accounts, and operational tooling.
• Assist in creating LLDs, topology diagrams, build documents, and migration runbooks.
• Implement IaC using Terraform or ARM/Bicep, and maintain automation scripts for deployment.
• Configure VPN/ExpressRoute/VPC connectivity, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and IAM controls.
• Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, networking, backup, and cloud service integrations.
• Work with cross-functional teams (network, security, operations, app owners) to ensure smooth transitions.
• Support modernization efforts including containerization, OS upgrades, and platform uplift.

 

Qualifications:

• Up to 8 years in cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, and DC/cloud migration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure/AWS/GCP services, VMware, Windows/Linux servers.
• Familiar with migration tools (Azure Migrate, HCX, CloudEndure, Migration Factory workflows).
• Knowledge of IaC (Terraform/ARM/Bicep), scripting (PowerShell/Python/Bash), and automation practices.
• Understanding of hybrid connectivity, routing, load balancing, and security constructs.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field; cloud certifications are desirable.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with backup, DR, monitoring, tagging, policy enforcement, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-native modernization patterns.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced migration environments and collaborate across technical teams.
