Project Manager - Internet of Things (IoT) and Digital Solutions

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager – IoT & Digital Solutions to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives for clients in the cement industry. The role involves managing end-to-end delivery of IoT, cloud, and AI/ML-driven solutions, enabling smart manufacturing, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end IoT and digital transformation projects for manufacturing industry clients.
• Drive implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions, including predictive maintenance, process optimization, and asset monitoring.
• Manage project lifecycle including planning, execution, risk management, and delivery within timelines and budget.
• Architect and oversee cloud-based IoT solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, backend, data science, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of edge devices, sensors, and plant systems with cloud platforms.
• Oversee development of scalable applications using Python, Django Rest Framework, Angular, and React.
• Drive data engineering and analytics pipelines leveraging BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and Cloud Storage.
• Lead AI/ML initiatives including Computer Vision, Image Analytics, and Predictive Analytics.
• Manage deployment of ML models using Vertex AI and tools like DataRobot.
• Ensure adoption of DevOps practices using Docker and cloud-native technologies.
• Engage with stakeholders and clients to define requirements, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct regular reviews, provide insights, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 12–15 years of experience with at least 5+ years in project/program management in IoT or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience working with cement or process manufacturing industry clients.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Vertex AI.
• Hands-on understanding of:

• Python & Django Rest Framework (backend development)
• Angular / React (frontend technologies)
• PostgreSQL & BigQuery (data platforms)

• Experience in AI/ML solutions:

• Computer Vision, Image Analytics
• Predictive Analytics
• ML model development and deployment

• Familiarity with DataRobot and automated ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of Edge Computing & IoT Analytics architectures.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Strong understanding of industrial IoT ecosystems and sensor integration.
• Experience managing global delivery projects in a software services environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Data Science, or related field.

Certifications :

Certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, and cloud platforms (GCP/Azure) will be considered an added advantage.
