Kitchen Helper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helper to assist in daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will support chefs and kitchen staff by maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and ensuring smooth kitchen workflow while following food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs in basic food preparation and ingredient handling.
• Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and workstations.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
• Store food items properly according to safety guidelines.
• Assist in receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and inventory.
• Dispose of waste and keep garbage areas clean.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies at all times.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
