We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Snr. Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Support lead 1

Experience- 8 to 15 years

Location- Bangalore

 Mode of work- As of now it is remote (But whenever client ask, candidate should be able to come to office )

 Interview process- virtual call on Zoom

LEAD Job Descriptions:

•    A hands on team lead is required to provide oversight and leadership in the Controls Engineering Space.
•    Investigate and drive support resolution with senior internal clients and  stakeholders. Serve as point of escalation for support issues.
•    Manage the day to day operations of the teams and ensures SLOS and customer service levels are met.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
•    Manage escalations and incidents – directing the team and updating stakeholders. Able to ‘dive in’ to resolve issues.
•    Managing staff rotas schedules and vacation planning
•    Strong and confident communicator
•    Engage with Stakeholders to assess needs and provide monthly reporting
•    Ensure team are following standard processes and monitoring performance.
•    Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members to ensure successful resolution of issues
•    Continuously improve processes and systems to increase reliability and reduce risk.
•    Influence and suggest improvements on roadmap for enhancing Controls Engineering client experience.

Key criteria:
•    Must have a proved record of team leadership in a support environment.
•    Must have working knowledge and experience with Java, Kubernetes and front end tech such as REACT
•    Must be willing to execute on support issues while also building out the function and automating resolution of repeat issues.
•    Able to dive in and pick up issues and solve them or to coordinate the response and follow to resolution.
•    AWS knowledge is an advantage.
•    Must be presentable to clients and a clear, empathetic communicator able to talk to clients and stakeholders with confidence up to senior levels.
•    Good Knowledge of SDLC, CVS, SVN, GIT, Maven, GITLAB, Docker and Jenkins.
•    work experience on SDLC, LINUX system platforms.
•    Good Knowledge of  CVS, SVN, GIT, Maven, GITLAB, Docker and Jenkins.

Production Support & Incident Management
•    Provide L3 support for complex production issues, including deep analysis, debugging, code-level fixes, and end-to-end validation.
•    Perform detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.
•    Manage incident lifecycle, including outage communication, tracking, escalation, and post-resolution follow-ups.
•    Ensure adherence to SLA commitments with a strong focus on reducing recurring incidents.
Application Support
•    Support Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) operations, including code compilation, builds, artifact management, and software distribution.
•    Troubleshoot issues related to CI/CD pipelines, repositories, and build systems.
•    Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and ensure build stability.
•    Validate releases to minimize production risks and rollback scenarios.
Infrastructure & Automation
•    Provide infrastructure and platform support across Linux-based environments.
•    Automate repetitive operational tasks using Shell, Python\Java, or Perl scripting.
•    Support configuration management and automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
•    Improve system efficiency by developing automation solutions for provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows.
Monitoring, Performance & Reliability
•    Utilize tools like Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
•    Continuously focus on performance tuning, scalability, and system optimization.
•    Identify trends, defects, and system inefficiencies to drive proactive improvements.
Database & Systems Expertise
•    Work with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Sybase) and write optimized SQL queries.
•    Support application servers and middleware such as Apache, Tomcat.
•    Manage job scheduling and batch processing using tools like Autosys/CRON.
