Consultant - System Management
MSSQL MySQL Administrator
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2L3 247 SQL Server support across multiple environments
Manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions
Perform performance tuning and capacity planning
Handle database patching upgrades and security compliance
Participate in major incident handling and root cause analysis
Support businesscritical OLTP and reporting workloads
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong experience with Always On Availability Groups
Handson with Failover Clustering
Experience with Log Shipping and Replication
Advanced TSQL index tuning execution plan analysis
Backup recovery strategy implementation
Windows Server and SQL Server internals knowledge
Desired Skills
SQL Server on Azure Azure SQL Managed Instance
PowerShell scripting
Experience with monitoring tools SQL Monitor SCOM etc
Good to have experience on MYSQLdatabases
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2L3 support 24 7 for MySQL databases
Manage high availability and replication environments
Perform performance tuning and query optimization
Lead failovers upgrades and patching activities
Handle major incidents and ensure database availability
Support backup recovery and disaster recovery planning
Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong experience with MySQL Replication
Handson with InnoDB Cluster Group Replication
Experience with Galera Cluster Percona MariaDB is a plus
Performance tuning indexes query optimization buffer tuning
Backup tools XtraBackup mysqldump
Linux troubleshooting skills
Desired Skills
MySQL on cloud RDS Aurora MySQL
Monitoring tools PMM Monyog etc
Automation and scripting exposure
Good to have knowledge of MSSQL and PostgreSql
