Summary:
As a Large Language Model Developer, a typical day involves refining and adapting advanced language models to better suit specific domains and instructions. This role requires continuous engagement with evolving model architectures and datasets to improve the model's contextual understanding and output quality. The workday includes iterative testing, evaluating model responses, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the models meet the desired performance standards and relevance for targeted applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize model fine-tuning processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project goals and deliverables.
- Drive innovation by researching and integrating new techniques in language model adaptation.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Large Language Models (LLMs), Java & Python.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Machine Learning (ML).
- Experience in AI application development, focusing on cloud-based AI model integration, deployment, and optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like Spring AI, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Agno, Pydantic, TensorFlow etc.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services for AI, including Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search for developing and deploying AI applications at scale.
- Proficiency in advanced AI architecture patterns, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic RAG, MCP, Functional Calling, A2A especially in an Azure environment.
- Experience in prompt engineering, context engineering, vector databases, embedding/chunking strategies, and real-time data integration.
- Experience in evaluating model output and optimization
- Strong knowledge of natural language processing techniques and model architectures.
- Experience in fine-tuning models with a focus on instruction-based learning and domain-specific adaptation.
- Ability to analyze and preprocess large datasets to enhance model training quality.
- Familiarity with evaluation metrics and methodologies to assess model performance and relevance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Large Language Models (LLMs).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
