Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Java Application Engineer with strong experience in migrating legacy Java enterprise applications to modern Spring Spring Bootbased architectures using HibernateJPA and SQL databases within banking environments
The role involves application modernization code refactoring database interaction optimization and ensuring regulatory security and performance compliance in largescale banking transformation programs
Key Responsibilities
Lead endtoend Java application migration initiatives including
Legacy Java monolith to Spring Spring Boot
J2EE older frameworks to microservices or modular architectures
Backend Development Spring Hibernate
Design and develop backend services using Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security
Hibernate JPA for ORM and persistence
Optimize SQL queries and Hibernate mappings for performance and scalability
Handle complex transactional workflows common in banking systems
Database Data Layer Migration
