Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors/suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and credit terms with suppliers
• Raise and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with production/sales for material requirements
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve quality or delivery disputes
• Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Maintain purchase records, rate contracts, and supplier database
• Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment follow-up
• Ensure raw material/component quality meets production standards
• Track market price trends for key raw materials
