Team Member-CRCU-SUPPORT SERVICES-Centralised Reconciliation and Controls Unit

As a Team Member in the CRCU department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the bank's financial integrity and accuracy. Your primary focus will be on supporting the team in reconciling and controlling various financial transactions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in banking operations and financial controls.

  • Assist in daily reconciliation of accounts and transactions.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies or exceptions in financial data.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of reconciliation activities.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve reconciliation issues.
  • Ensure timely escalation of critical issues to the management.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining effective control procedures.
  • Monitor and report on the status of reconciliation processes.
  • Provide support and training to junior team members.
  • Maintain a high level of data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in a reconciliation role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing banking regulations.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
