As a Program Manager II, you will own strategic programs that improve delivery speed, promise accuracy, and network efficiency across Amazon India's fulfillment network. Working at the intersection of Supply Chain, Operations, Product, and Technology, you will develop scalable mechanisms, lead planning for major shopping events, and drive initiatives that enhance the customer experience while balancing operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to influence high-impact decisions, work with senior cross-functional stakeholders, and solve challenging business problems at scale using data-driven insights.

Key job responsibilities
As a Program Manager II, you will own strategic programs that improve customer promise accuracy and fulfillment performance across Amazon India's fulfillment network. You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Product, Transportation, ACES, and Business teams to design scalable solutions that enhance delivery speed while ensuring operational readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

1) Own fulfillment promise configurations across multiple fulfillment channels, ensuring customers receive accurate and reliable delivery commitments.
2) Lead planning and execution for major shopping events such as Prime Day and the Great Indian Festival, developing fulfillment strategies that balance customer experience with network capacity.
3) Drive contingency planning by developing scalable mechanisms that protect customer promises during demand spikes, operational disruptions, and peak periods.
4) Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to launch new fulfillment nodes and customer outbound capabilities, ensuring seamless network integration.
5) Improve shipment consolidation strategies by working with Transportation, Planning, and Operations teams to reduce waste while maintaining delivery speed.
6) Own planning mechanisms to proactively identify network risks and implement mitigations that improve fulfillment stability.
7) Analyze large datasets to identify customer experience opportunities, quantify business impact, and influence cross-functional decisions.
8) Build scalable processes, automation opportunities, and operational mechanisms that improve long-term network performance.
9) Influence senior stakeholders across multiple organizations by presenting data-driven recommendations and driving alignment on strategic initiatives.

About the team
The Fulfillment Experience (FX) role is responsible for delivering fast, reliable, and accurate delivery promises to Amazon customers across India. The team sits at the intersection of Supply Chain, Operations, Product, and ACES, driving programs that continuously improve customer delivery speed while maintaining operational efficiency and network stability.

FX owns the configuration and optimization of fulfillment promises across the India network, ensuring customers receive the best possible delivery experience during both business-as-usual operations and large-scale shopping events. The team develops scalable mechanisms that balance customer experience, fulfillment cost, and operational execution, while enabling the network to respond effectively to changing demand patterns.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
