NMDPL: Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed through a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. It leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform one of Asia’s largest informal settlements into a modern urban hub with sustainable housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.

Job Purpose: The role is responsible for ensuring quality governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple projects within a designated region. This role oversees the implementation of quality standards, monitors contractor and vendor compliance, drives process improvements, and ensures adherence to regulatory and contractual quality norms. Additionally, the role involves training site teams, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and optimizing quality performance while maintaining cost efficiency.

Lead Quality

Quality Governance & Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to quality norms and processes across all regional projects by providing guidance and oversight to project teams.

Conduct regular evaluations of contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with quality standards and performance benchmarks.

Implement quality control frameworks in alignment with organizational policies and industry best practices.

Documentation & Compliance Reporting:

Oversee regional quality reporting, ensuring timely submission of quality logs, compliance documents, and audit reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Maintain accurate records of non-conformities, corrective actions, and compliance status across all projects.

Process Development & Continuous Quality Improvement:

Define and implement regional quality control procedures to drive continuous improvement across all project functions.

Identify potential risks and quality challenges and implement proactive solutions to mitigate issues before they impact project execution.

Develop and enforce corrective and preventive action plans to enhance construction quality and minimize rework.

Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation:

Lead the implementation of the QMS across all regional sites, ensuring compliance with established standards.

Conduct site audits based on project progress, identifying quality gaps and providing high-level insights to improve execution.

Optimize site quality by reducing rework, increasing efficiency, and enhancing the regional quality index.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Feedback Integration:

Work closely with Design, Construction, and Workmanship teams to address project quality issues and integrate serviceability feedback.

Support project teams in analysing quality deviations and implementing corrective measures.

Facilitate discussions on new materials, construction methods, and technology adoption to improve quality outcomes.

Quality Standard Enforcement:

Ensure all projects comply with BOQ, IS Codes, and other regulatory specifications, with oversight on structural and finishing activities.

Monitor shuttering, reinforcement, waterproofing, tiling, and MEP work to ensure alignment with quality benchmarks.

Training & Development:

Conduct training sessions and quality orientation programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of site QA QC teams.

Ensure project teams are well-versed in quality assurance processes, industry best practices, and compliance standards.

Develop a culture of quality ownership among site engineers and supervisors.

Financial Accountability for Quality Compliance:

Ensure quality implementation aligns with contractual obligations and cost targets, maintaining quality within budget.

Support the Head - Quality in optimizing regional quality budgets and resources.

Track quality-related cost impacts, ensuring minimal financial deviations due to rework or defects.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in engineering - Civil

Work Experience (Range of years):

15-18 Years

Preferred Industry:

Experience on-site QA QC within real estate or construction.

Strong understanding of quality standards, documentation, and site-based problem-solving skills. Knowledgeable in structural and finishing quality checks and compliance processes.
