Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :

 

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for SAP EWM/LE-WM landscapes, including decentral vs. embedded deployment decisions and interface architecture (qRFC, CIF)

• Apply deep conceptual and hands-on knowledge of warehouse management, Material Flow System (MFS),ASAR, slotting, labor management, and yard management to solve highly complex business and technical problems

• Manage and govern the design, build, and testing of warehouse business applications and architecture across multiple business units and warehouses, in line with global standards

• Review and govern configuration/development delivered by L1-L2 consultants; enforce standards, naming conventions, and best practices

• Maintain production systems reliability through governance, authorization design, and audit/safeguard frameworks for critical master and configuration data

• Review program code and configuration delivered across the team and provide corrective and design guidance

 

 

Required  Qualifications :

• Engineering graduate, BSc or equivalent experience. Computer Science, BSc IT, MBA

• Minimum 4 Years of Experience with eWM S4 Hana 

• Basic knowledge of SAP ABAP and debugging is preferred

• Strong oral & written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Hold Certifications in EWM / WM Module

• Possess strong analytical abilities and a proven track record of performance in IT Role developing, configuring and implementing

• Strong leadership skills & Analytical skills 

• SAP & other system : Deep knowledge of SAP applications on a technical level

 

Responsibilities :

• Should be able to work independently in the required area.
  
  

• Should have knowledge of the Integration with Other SAP Modules.
  
  

• Should have experience in managing the Queues.
  
  

• Experience in developing Functional specifications for using objects like user exits, BADIs, enhancements.
  
  

• Strong oral & written communication skills.
  
  

• Wave template configuration, PPF (Post Processing Framework) action profile design, and MFS telegram configuration (/SCWM/MFS_*)

•  Experience designing EWM authorization concepts (warehouse- and activity-based) and BAdI-based safeguards/audit logging for master and configuration data

•  Architecture-level knowledge of S/4HANA, SAP PI/PO/Integration Suite, and EDI/IDoc frameworks

• Demonstrated technical leadership, client-facing communication, and proposal/estimation experience

• Strong analytical and root-cause-analysis capability across both functional and technical layers

• Should have basic knowledge of Debug Skill.
  
  

• Ability to identify, analyse, and resolve problems logically.
  
  

• Ability to troubleshoot and identify root cause.
  
  

• Should be flexible and adaptable to new technologies.
  
  

• Hands-on experience in Warehouse Management, Embedded Extended warehouse management, Decentralized Extended Warehouse management and logistics and its Integration with other Production Planning, Quality Management, batch management & material management.
  
  

• Knowledge/ Hands on experience of SAP Logistics execution (outbound, inbound delivery, shipment cycles) in batch managed scenarios.
  
  

• Knowledge of SAP applications like EDI interfaces -messages in procurement & logistics area, ABAP debugging.
  
  

• Good SAP technical architecture knowledge of connected systems including S/4HANA, Web methods or SAP PI etc.
  
  

• Knowledge on new dimensional technologies like Machine Learning, RPA, Data Science.

• Exposure to Transportation Management (TM) integration with EWM

• SAP certification in EWM

• Experience in slotting/rearrangement rule design and resource/queue management for labor optimization

• Maintain production systems reliability through correct utilization of GIT standard support and governance processes.
  
  

• Experience integrating emerging technology — RPA, ML/AI-based exception handling, and LLM-driven support tools — into EWM support models.
