Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of project deliverables and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands coordinating with various teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the applications, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise. The engineer plays a pivotal role in driving the project forward by making informed decisions and maintaining clear communication channels throughout the development lifecycle.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project goals and deliverables.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and assistance in their tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText ECM Tools, JavaScript, Customer Communication Management Solutions.
- Strong experience in application design and configuration within enterprise content management environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software applications.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working knowledge of software development life cycles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
