The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering learning and development programs to reach stated business outcomes, on-time, and on-budget. You will demonstrate consistently high performance in both business and technical training skills. You will adjust both materials and training techniques to meet the performance needs of the trainees and the business. You are a trusted participant in training initiatives.

As a Training Specialist, you will

• Conduct live classes (virtual or classroom) to internal customers (travel consultants up to and including managers and peers) with possible requirement to travel
• Review training material, incorporating examples as needed and preparing for facilitation
• Proactively use classroom management skills to address trainee concerns and use appropriate mechanisms to escalate
• Measure and evaluate training effectiveness to both monitor trainee performance and identify and implement program improvements 
• Evaluate performance, of both new and existing personnel, identifying additional learning opportunities or deficiencies in the current courses or approach
• Review classroom, after-class performance and survey results, to identify opportunities for adjustments for improved results (both self and course) for business outcome achievement

About you

• Demonstrated competence in training delivery and consultation
• Prior knowledge of GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus
• Expert, hands-on knowledge of all aspects of the travel reservation process and technology products
• Good understanding of the instructional design process (ADDIE) 
• Can work with a variety of SME levels to create materials 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
