Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS Functional Lead – Testing with strong expertise in warehouse processes, functional validation, and end-to-end testing lifecycle. The ideal candidate will lead functional testing workstreams across inbound, outbound, and inventory processes, ensuring that WMS solutions are accurately aligned with business requirements and warehouse operations. The role requires a strong blend of functional expertise, testing leadership, stakeholder management, and governance, along with hands-on experience in BY WMS configuration validation and defect management. The candidate will be responsible for driving test strategy, execution governance, defect resolution, and operational readiness, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and stable WMS solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end functional testing lifecycle for BY WMS (PDT, SIT, UAT), including test strategy, planning, execution governance, and reporting and the ability to analyze FRS and Solution Design documents to derive test cases and scenarios aligned with warehouse operations
- Drive functional validation across inbound, outbound, WCS and inventory processes, ensuring alignment with business workflows, configuration accuracy, and data integrity
- Own defect management lifecycle, including triage, prioritization, RCA, validation of fixes, and ensuring minimal defect leakage across environments
- Ensure comprehensive validation of BY WMS configurations, RF screens, workflows, integrations, reports, labels, and MOCA-related components, including version control through GitHub or any other version control tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, validate business scenarios, support UAT, and ensure sign-off readiness, acting as the bridge between business, QA, and development teams
- Lead and mentor functional testing teams, providing guidance on test design, validation, defect handling, and driving knowledge sharing and documentation standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test efficiency, coverage, process standardization, and adoption of reusable test frameworks

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong BY WMS functional knowledge across all warehouse processes
- Knowledge of MOCA, Page Builder, Reports, Integrator, Labels
- Strong Jira Knowledge.
- Extensive experience in functional testing (SIT, UAT, E2E validation)
- Deep understanding of supply chain and warehouse operations
- Hands-on experience validating BY WMS configurations, RF workflows and Device/System integrations
- Experience in Defect management lifecycle & Test planning and execution tracking
- Proficiency in SQL / Oracle / DB2 (for validation and data checks)
- Strong understanding of Inbound, outbound, and inventory workflows.

Additional Information:
- Experience in 3PL / 4PL/ Retail warehouse implementations.
- Experience in Testing for Blue Yonder WMS upgrade or cloud migration experience.
- Exposure to automation testing or framework-based validation.
- Experience working in global onsite–offshore delivery models.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing integration, GITHUB, Agile / DevOps delivery models
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in BlueYonder Warehouse Management.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
