Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual DTP Operator (Olympiad Question Papers). The candidate will design, format, and type high-stakes academic competitive exam papers. You will be responsible for creating flawless layouts, converting complex mathematical/scientific equations, and managing precise English and Hindi bilingual formatting.
Key Responsibilities
Equation Typing & Technical Formatting
- Type complex equations: Input advanced Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry formulas accurately.
- Use specialized tools: Utilize MathType, MS Equation Editor, or LaTeX daily.
- Format scientific data: Correctly align matrices, subscripts, superscripts, fractions, and chemical structures.
Bilingual Layout & Design
- Mirror formatting: Create side-by-side or sequential English and Hindi layouts.
- Manage Hindi fonts: Work fluidly with Unicode, Mangal, Kruti Dev, and Chanakya fonts.
- Ensure exact matching: Verify that translated Hindi formulas exactly match the English versions.
Question Paper Formatting (MCQ Specialist)
- Design MCQ grids: Format question stems, four-option grids, and multi-column layouts cleanly.
- Insert visual assets: Crop, clean, and embed diagrams, geometric shapes, and graphs into text.
- Apply master styling: Maintain strict margins, page numbers, headers, footers, and watermarks.
Quality Control & Security
- Perform self-proofing: Eliminate typos, overlapping text, line-break errors, and missing symbols.
- Maintain confidentiality: Handle sensitive, unreleased examination data with absolute security.
