About the role

The Senior Manager for Record to Report (RTR) and Controllership & Specialist Finance (C&SF) is responsible for managing the technical IT&D capabilities, BAU operations and future roadmap for these critical finance functions

Your responsibilities

Creating a roadmap to deliver the tools needed by the organisation based in the ‘best-in’ class or cost model for the capabilities you own
Manage BAU operations for the areas, supporting the Principal BA and the team on escalation and prioritisation
Working with business users to support adoption of digital first tools and living the strategy, challenging where required
Working with third parties to deliver outsourced models where needed or appropriate
Supporting the IT architecture as required
Support a data strategy in partnership with the data team

The experience we're looking for

Extensive experience in process optimisation around SAP RTR and C&SF
Experience of managing BAU technology with service management processes (Incident, problem, change, release) in regulated environments
Experience of working with and influencing senior stakeholders to balance business needs with IT standards and processes.
Enthusiastic about the use of technology, with a proven ability to provide a communication ‘bridge’ between the business and technologists.
Experience of working in a product operating model with Agile delivery environment
Experience of supporting complex change and / or multi-disciplinary projects
