What would you do? You will support Record-to-Report activities including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, and audit support to help clients maintain financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. In addition to core accounting responsibilities, you will have opportunities to support finance transformation and automation initiatives. Selected candidates will be trained on BlackLine automation capabilities and will contribute to automated journal, reconciliation, and transaction matching processes. Experience with interest in Record to Report/Period End Closures/BS Reconciliations/Reporting/Taxation R2R is a finance and accounting management process that involves collecting, processing, and presenting accurate financial data. R2R provides strategic, financial, and operational feedback on the performance of the organization to inform management and other stakeholders. Implementation of gen. ledger processes including yearend closing, journalizing. Creating and maintaining ledgers, ledger currencies, budgets, and journal entries, design to deliver a financial management solution including a flexible accounting structure, comprehensive journal processing, hierarchical summaries, intuitive inquiry and reporting as well as dynamic allocations and the management of commitments and expenditures also run Interface reports and perform close books of accounts.
What are we looking for? The following skills are required to perform this role- • Good Accounting Skills & Sound understanding of Concepts & Principles • Exposure to BlackLine or finance automation platforms is preferred. • Knowledge and experience in SAP S4 HANA • Ability to follow defined standards, calendars and control requirements • Strong written and verbal English • Ability to apply all clients accounting policies so that there are no audit observations • Achieve the levels of productivity and quality as per the standards, agreed for the process. • Analysing, summarizing, and presenting operational metrics and accounting reports as needed • Adhere to Organization Policies and Rules • Shoulder additional team responsibility and engage with members as relevant • Effective Verbal Communications- Ability to verbally engage in a concise manner with stakeholders to share opinions or information to convey meaning, construct shared understanding, or promote action. • Effective Written Communications- Create, deliver, or exchange concise written documentation with thoughts, opinions. • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables etc. required Additionally, you must possess the following skills- • Problem Solving- The process of working through the details of a problem to find a solution. Able to capture, type and search accurate information • Critical/ Analytical Thinking – A process of conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, and evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning, or communication, as a guide to belief and action.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Prepare, post, and review journal entries including accruals, prepayments, reclassifications, and other accounting transactions. • Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate reconciling items, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances. • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including reporting and audit support. • Perform variance analysis, account analysis, and financial reporting activities. • Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and control requirements. • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and client requirements. • Support finance transformation and automation initiatives within Record-to-Report processes. • Participate in testing, validation, and stabilization activities for automated journal, reconciliation, and transaction matching solutions. • Assist in data analysis, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve operational and project objectives. • Meet agreed productivity, quality, and service delivery targets.
