Teacher — Job Description

We are seeking a warm, patient, and creative Preschool Teacher to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences for young children (ages 2.5–6 years). The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development and skilled at fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lesson plans covering language, numeracy, motor skills, creativity, and social-emotional development

• Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and play-based learning

• Observe and assess each child’s developmental progress; maintain records and share updates with parents

• Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques

• Collaborate with co-teachers, support staff, and program coordinators

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s growth, milestones, and any concerns

• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are maintained at all times

• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Early Childhood Education, Montessori training, or related field

• 1–3 years of experience teaching preschool-aged children (freshers with relevant training may also apply)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience, energy, and genuine love for working with young children

• Basic understanding of child safety protocols and first aid (preferred)
