Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands close coordination with various stakeholders to ensure that the solutions meet business needs and are delivered efficiently. The engineer actively oversees the progress of development tasks, troubleshoots challenges, and ensures that the applications are aligned with organizational goals and standards. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and maintaining high-quality software delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and project understanding.
- Facilitate effective communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve conflicts.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities CRM, SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles and application configuration within utility domains.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues and provide effective solutions.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP for Utilities CRM.
- This position is based at our NGDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
