Assistant Manager-GDC

Roles & responsibilities 
This role requires detailed knowledge of routines and procedures in order to sufficiently perform non-routine tasks. 
Role uses initiative and independent judgement to perform work. This role applies broad theoretical knowledge typically obtained through advanced education and/or work experience. 
Project Delivery
Help support in test strategy and planning 
Manage testing activities and defect triage discussions
Assign tasks to team members, monitor their progress, and provide guidance and highly proactive in clarifications as needed.
Prepare test plans and test scenarios
Collaborate with Dev/Business team to setup test environment and data
Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases and scripts
Execute both manual and automated testing
Execute performance testing as defined in the test plan
Log defects uncovered during testing
Provide daily status reports
Interact & collaborate with multiple stakeholders for review of workpapers
Quality
Adhere to applicable framework, follow all the best practices preparer and checker process effectively to attain targeted quality
Ensure that the engagements are delivered within budget and time
Ensure that documents are prepared/reviewed with no quality issue
People
Demonstrate accountability and willingness to stretch beyond regular hours when needed
Inculcate and exhibit KPMG values in everyday conduct
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior all the times

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Hands-on experience working in Agile environment on manual testing (Business / Functional). 
People management skills such as team building and motivating
Expertise in software testing/quality analyst, database and visualization concepts
Good knowledge of SDLC & STLC 
Proactive in resource alignments and ensure fully utilized
Responsible for performance appraisal for aligned team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills).

 

This role is for you if you have  the below
Educational qualifications 
Masters degree in Finance and Accounting with good understanding of accounting / auditing concepts as well as
Relevant Industry certification (e.g., CSM, PMP, CBAP) is preferred
Work experience
6-8 years with experience in functional and business testing
Prior experience in finance/accounting/auditing domain is preferable
