Overview


Responsibilities

• Attract, lead and develop and retain top talent. Leading and growing a great team of Technical Program Managers and Product Managers and helping to define team culture. 
• You will facilitate the integration of AI-enabled tools, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance product strategy, customer understanding, prioritization, decision-making, engineering efficiency, incident response, quality and customer outcomes, all while maintaining security, privacy, and compliance standards. 
• Drive the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of products, aligning cross-functional teams and senior leadership to deliver high-impact business outcomes. 
• Driving efficiency and quality into engineering processes in partnership with the engineering leads.        
• Foster effective partnerships with teams across the company by aligning, defining, and measuring common goals. 
• Use data to influence & drive decisions. 
• Set priorities for engineering based on a deep understanding of the broader Windows ecosystem and customer scenarios. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ year(s) project or people management experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Ability to build trust with internal and external partners through quality delivery and integrity. 
• Ability to handle critical situations with confidence, directing the team towards effective response.  
• Demonstrating the ability to learn and apply learning to improve business outcomes, positive impact for the team and self.  
• Growth mindset by demonstrating the willingness to be open to new ideas with the ability to lead others along. 
• Proven track record of going technically deep and delivering cloud-scale technologies. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 4+ years people management experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
