Location: SAP Field Service Management Unit (Part of SAP CX Organization)

Expectations and Tasks:

• 7+ years of experience in ABAP development, especially ABAP OO.
• Responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of project module components.
• Work on relatively complex problems, using standard programming concepts and principles.
• Collaborate as a fully contributing team member under broad supervision/guidance.
• Be self-motivated, a team player, a quick learner, and willing to go beyond expectations to deliver high-quality products.

Education, Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong programming background in ABAP/ABAP OO.
• Excellent technical skills in:
  • ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) modelling
  • RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming)
  • OData
  • Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Fiori
  • Extensibility
  • API development
• Experience with RAP: Design and implement new RAP features using ABAP.
• Knowledge of ABAP Unit Testing.
• Exposure to Agile Development Methodologies like Scrum.
• Experience or functional knowledge in S/4HANA Service/CS/PM is desirable.
• Exposure to all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with customer-facing experience being a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing business environment. Flexibility and adaptability are essential for success in this role.
