Job Title: Operations Senior Manager

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team: CBA India is responsible for servicing multiple brands and business units across the Group; delivering a highly flexible operations, technology and data management functions, outstanding customer experiences and better risk outcomes. This is achieved through process management and a cross-skilled, capable workforce.

Retail Home Lending Operations (RHLO) is responsible for the decisioning, fulfilment, settlement and servicing of retail home lending products across CBA and forms part of the broader Retail Operations team.

The RHLO function delivers effective outcomes by being dedicated to operating and enhancing processes, ensuring we deliver a highly flexible operations environment, outstanding customer experiences and better risk outcomes.

Impact & contribution: As a Senior Manager, you will be Responsible for leading the RHLO Team. You will possess the following attributes:

• Previous relevant experience or a sound service background.

Reporting lines: This role will report to the Executive Manager, CBA India.

Roles & Responsibilities: Adhere to the Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct sets the standards of behaviour, actions and decisions we expect from our people.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for leading the RO teams.

  • Provide guidance on various projects and initiatives aiming to achieve operation efficiencies.

  • Generate and implement process improvement to improve customer experience, team efficiency, ultimately cost reduction.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end RO process and relevance to customers in all segments.

  • Lead and empower teams towards progress and living by CBA values, building an engaging culture.

  • Mange the performance Management cycle, objective settings, development and career planning, performance appraisal and rewards and recognition.

  • Managing stakeholder communication across multiple lines of business on operational milestones.

  • Management of existing risk with business and prompt action of open incidents to remediate.

  • Assist Operations Team Leads in achieving their responsibilities

Essential Skills:

  • Total 10 - 15 Years’ experience in Banking Operations (Must) and minimum of 5 years into team management at a senior manager capacity.
  • Strong track record of Transformation, including experience in driving projects/initiatives that lead to improve business standards.
  • Must have proven record of Develop employees and their skill set to expand
  • Proven record of displaying ability to engage with all levels of the organization and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong Credit or underwriting knowledge.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the end-to-end Home Loans operations processes and relevance to customers in all segments
  • Must have managed critical operational processes with SLA and Metric responsibility
  • Ability to articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written, visual communication skills and excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in understanding and executing business controls
  • Detail Oriented - Exercise extreme attention to details; is thorough, accurate, organized, and productive and seeks to understand both cause and effect of a situation.
  • Good Judgement - The exercise of Critical thinking, analysing and assessing and taking ownership of outcome.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Accounting, or Business.
