Job Description
The RoleThis is an ownership role, not a seat-filler. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle of TripboxCRM: building the pipeline, running product demos, closing deals, and ensuring new customers stay and grow. You will work directly with the founders, help shape the sales playbook, and over time build and lead a small sales team.
Because TripboxCRM is an affordable, high-volume product, this is a fast-cycle, demo-driven, consultative sales role — you win by understanding a travel agency's pain points and showing them exactly how the product solves them.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline & Prospecting
- Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, industry networks, travel trade events).
- Manage and qualify inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain a healthy, well-segmented sales pipeline (using TripboxCRM itself).
Selling & Closing
- Conduct compelling product demos for travel agency owners, tour operators, and DMCs — both online and in person.
- Run a consultative sales process: diagnose the prospect's workflow gaps and position the relevant TripboxCRM pillars as the solution.
- Manage trials/onboarding conversations and convert trials into paying subscriptions.
- Own the full cycle: prospect → demo → negotiate → close → handover.
Retention & Growth
- Ensure smooth onboarding handover so new customers see value quickly (critical for a low-ticket subscription where churn is the enemy).
- Identify upsell and referral opportunities within the existing customer base.
- Build channel and referral partnerships within the travel trade.
Process, Reporting & Feedback
- Maintain accurate records, forecasts, and activity logs.
- Report weekly on pipeline, conversions, MRR added, and key metrics to the founders.
- Feed structured customer feedback back to the product team to shape the roadmap.
- Help build the repeatable sales playbook (scripts, objection handling, demo flow) and, as the business scales, hire and mentor a sales team.
What We're Looking ForMust-haves
- 3–6 years of experience in B2B SaaS / software sales OR selling marketing services (digital marketing, ad services, media, agency services).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong demo, presentation, and consultative-selling skills — able to translate features into business value.
- Comfort with high-activity, fast-cycle selling (volume of conversations matters).
- Proficiency with a CRM and disciplined pipeline management.
- Excellent communication in English and Hindi (regional language ability is a plus for the Indian travel trade).
- Self-starter who thrives with ownership and minimal hand-holding.
Nice-to-haves
- Existing network or experience selling to the travel industry (travel agents, tour operators, DMCs).
- Experience selling to SMBs / small business owners.
- Early-stage startup experience.
- Comfort with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, WhatsApp Business, and email outreach platforms.
