Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring testing processes, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of the software product. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to synchronize efforts and drive continuous improvement is a key aspect of daily activities.

- Lead and mentor team members to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of quality objectives with business goals.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote best practices and innovation within the team.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter QA.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and software testing principles.
- Experience in developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ability to analyze complex business and functional requirements to design effective testing strategies.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software products.

Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
